Created for a different path I am
Treading the path not for the weak of heart
But, for those weak in self, like a lamb
Depending on the Shepherd for courage
I am made for life and for battle
Self and sin no longer may hold me hostage
No more will I be herded like cattle
I must war against the evil within
No longer my own, I belong to Another
He who calls me to join the battle's din
Leaving earth's passing pleasures to follow my Father
I am a warrior set apart
God's warrior, after His own heart
